One Tree Planted

This year, we partnered with One Tree Planted to contribute to global reforestation efforts. For every school participating on our platform, we planted a tree, helping to restore ecosystems, combat climate change, and preserve biodiversity. Employees also had the chance to directly support this meaningful cause, coming together to make a collective impact.

Human-I-T: Realizing Impact Through Action

Our partnership with Human-I-T has had a significant environmental and social impact. Here’s what we’ve accomplished together in 2024:

• Electronic Waste Diverted: 796 lbs, keeping harmful materials out of landfills.
• Greenhouse Gas Emissions Prevented: 1,110 lbs, contributing to a cleaner environment.
• Toxic Metals Diverted: 23 lbs, mitigating risks to human and environmental health.

Through these efforts, PlayVS has turned discarded technology into opportunities for empowerment, learning, and sustainability.

Gamers Outreach

For every school participating on our platform, we’ve contributed a dollar toward building Gamers Outreach portable gaming kiosks (GO Karts) for hospitals in need. This year, PlayVS proudly selected Advent Health Tampa, a hospital affected by Hurricane Milton, as the recipient of our support. These GO Karts provide joy, entertainment, and a much-needed distraction to children facing extended hospital stays, offering moments of comfort and play during challenging times. Through this initiative, we’ve turned our passion for gaming into a source of healing and positivity for young patients and their families. Employees were also invited to support this meaningful cause, working together to create a lasting impact.

Looking Ahead: What's Next in 2025

PlayVS Volunteers

Starting in January, we’re partnering with Project Helping to assemble Teen Mental Health Kind Kits for a local school in San Antonio. These kits will provide support for individuals facing challenges like anxiety and depression, furthering our commitment to mental health advocacy.

Power of Play Charity Stream

We’re excited to announce that our first charity stream event, in partnership with the Starlight Children's Foundation, is happening this March! The Power of Play charity stream is dedicated to supporting Starlight's mission of bringing joy, comfort, and a sense of normalcy to hospitalized children.
